Building community

for therapists by therapists.

How often do you end a day of seeing clients feeling isolated, exhausted, and fantasizing of quitting the field altogether?

Do you ever find yourself wishing you had a stronger referral network so that you would worry less about how to get clients and focus on more life giving things? Do you ever daydream about starting a private practice but don’t know where to begin? Or, maybe you’re in private practice but it feels like a slog figuring out how to market, build a client base, and also find time for yourself?

Being a therapist can be deeply meaningful, but it can also feel isolating, overwhelming, and unsustainable without the right support.

Most of us didn’t get training in graduate school on how to run a successful business and instead have been piecing together the puzzle on our own. And while most of us have been to countless talks on burnout and self care, many of us struggle to really feel connected, fulfilled, and cared for at the end of the day.

It isn’t surprising that therapists have a high turnover rate, with 32% of therapists leaving the field after 1 to 2 years of practicing

Whether you’re dreaming of starting a private practice, growing an existing one, or looking for stronger clinical support, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Too many therapists are experiencing isolation and overwhelm when they deserve and need to feel fulfilled and connected.

Individual self care simply isn’t enough on its own. We need one another, we need community, and we need more genuine support for therapists.

While there is no magic pill for burnout or filling fulfilled as a therapist, one thing we know is that meaningful relationships matter more than almost anything else. Whether you’re in private practice or an agency job, we need connection to undo aloneness and experience fulfillment in life.

Therapists in the Wild is a collective of therapists that offers consultation, business development support, and practical resources to help therapists build sustainable, thriving practices.

What therapists are saying about working with Therapists in the Wild.

“[In the consultation group] I learned a lot clinically and personally from those discussions and they provided a great way to get to know the other therapists as well. And the space created really helped to allow this group to evolve into such a warm, supportive, clinically invigorating cohort.”

“Therapists in the Wild is a kind, nurturing community where fellow practitioners are genuinely interested in supporting and learning from one another. I’m so grateful for this authentic space!”

At Therapists in the Wild, we believe thriving as a therapist requires more than pushing through burnout or figuring it all out alone. Through consultation, business support, and meaningful professional connection, our goal is to help therapists build practices and lives that feel sustainable, aligned, and fulfilling.
